Irish Democracy: The Balancing Act by Bill Buppert

“He’s still alive, isn’t he?”

Orrin Porter Rockwell (June 28, 1813 or June 25, 1815 – June 9, 1878)

“Journalism is about covering important stories. With a pillow, until they stop moving.”

David Burge

“…within an established totalitarian regime the purpose of propaganda is not to persuade, much less to inform, but rather to humiliate. From this point of view, propaganda should not approximate to the truth as closely as possible: on the contrary, it should do as much violence to it as possible. For by endlessly asserting what is patently untrue, by making such untruth ubiquitous and unavoidable, and finally by insisting that everyone publicly acquiesce in it, the regime displays its power and reduces individuals to nullities.”

“Apart from the massacres, deaths and famines for which communism was responsible, the worst thing about the system was the official lying: that is to say the lying in which everyone was forced to take part, by repetition, assent or failure to contradict. I came to the conclusion that the purpose of propaganda in communist countries was not to persuade, much less to inform, but to humiliate and emasculate.”

“If you are held responsible for what I do and I held responsible for what you do, does that make us not friends but mutual spies? Normal human bounds are dissolved by collective responsibility, to be repealed by distrust, fear, dissembling and withdrawal”

“It is countries with no dissent, which live in the quiet of the grave, that are vulnerable and fragile.”

Anthony Daniels, The Wilder Shores Of Marx: Journeys In A Vanishing World

Publisher’s Note: It’s 2019 and most of the country believes that communism and socialism are viable social models for modern human zoo-keeping. Go figure.

When I was much younger, I couldn’t imagine what led to the fearful, informer-based culture in the Eastern Bloc that we were told existed behind the Iron Curtain. I understand now, though. The bigger the government , the more it needs citizens who not only conform but have so swallowed the Kool-Aid they are willing to inform on their neighbors or friends or family. The confidential informant culture is a vital survival and leveling mechanism for government supremacists.

Grok this in your everyday life.

More thoughts on disconnecting from the connected world.

People could not distract themselves endlessly as they can now, and this also had ramifications for social bonding: the pretense that we are all sovereign islands unconnected to and independent of others was a lot harder to sustain. Conversation became high art and debate started to reach its apogee only to plummets precipitously in the twentieth century.

This in turn leads to mindless parsing of human attributes unanchored to morality or the human condition. Intersectionality is a mindless preoccupation with putting people into more and more refined pigeon holes. The only thing valid about it is that each individual human being is a unique intersection of varying attitude, aspirations, and aptitudes on a variety of subjects, issues, skills etc. I am amused at the intersectional cannibalism emerging from the myriad factions of mental illness parading as political discourse that seem to teem on the intellectual plains of the left-wing culture. I am convinced daycare and two working parents have caused trauma or irreversible damage to most children that makes them vulnerable to the deadly swansong of government supremacism.

But remember, the left always pretended they opposed McCarthy on principle, when in reality they were only upset that it was their idols being blasphemed. Now that Woke Leftism has the cultural whip hand, they are gleeful at the prospect of enforcing their own blasphemy laws and dealing out McCarthy’s tactics to their enemies in triplicate.

In other news, yes, I am on the spectrum and I wouldn’t want to be neurotypical.

“Neurotypical syndrome is a neurobiological disorder characterized by preoccupation with social concerns, delusions of superiority, and obsession with conformity.”

Neurotypical (NT) individuals often assume that their experience of the world is either the only one, or the only correct one. NTs find it difficult to be alone. NTs are often intolerant of seemingly minor differences in others. When in groups, NTs are socially and behaviorally rigid, and frequently insist upon the performance of dysfunctional, destructive, and even impossible rituals as a way of maintaining group identity. NTs find it difficult to communicate directly and have a much higher incidence of lying as compared to persons on the autistic spectrum.

NT is believed to be genetic in origin. Autopsies have shown the brain of the neurotypical is typically smaller than that of an autistic individual and may have overdeveloped areas related to social behavior.

Celebrate neurodiversity. Don’t be a hater, NTs.

Government

History is not race, class, and gender; these are simply faux-sophisticated academic constructs that fit nicely in unreadable journal articles the usual suspects pass off as research in the wretched academic Marxian hothouses polluting the educational void after K-12 has thoroughly scooped out any brain matter that could think for itself. The universities (why do you think they aren’t heteroversities?) are simply the finishing school to further refine the brainwashed automatons that eagerly hop onboard any government supremacist passenger train passing their way.

History of all government is the history of power, violence and slavery.

Politician is a deceptive colloquialism for violence brokers. The brokerage is the potential and actual dispensation of state violence through taxation, regulation, fining, kidnapping, caging, maiming and killing in the tried and proven continuum of government compliance. The notion that a single man is incapable of self government but a single psychopath and his connected minions and apparatchiks is the key to a peaceful and just society lording over millions.

It is no more complex than that, all government outside of self-government demands violence to see its project in train and complete. Left or right is simply misdirection, it is always the choice between individualism and collectivism, the choice between non-intervention and intervention. In North America, there is no single political party that doesn’t want the reigns of government so it can take its collectivist vision and enforce it at gun point.

Whether the Mango Mussolini or any of his other predecessors in the Big House, they all have one goal in mind: compliance or else. That may be the three words that most simply tell you what the plan is for ANY government that forces itself upon you. This is not about questioning authority, it’s too late then. You must question obedience.

One of the greatest powers of the political class is that they tend to attract not only the worse but in economic terms provide no reliable future framework for decision making at the micro and macro level. In order for markets to optimally function, people need to be able to project and forecast into the future the variables that guide decision making and price signals. The state wrecks this calculus fundamentally and existentially hence the power of kakocrats at every level to use their “office” to extend favors and withdraw favor.

Politicians are the enemy of all free-range humankind.

Have you noticed a trend in the US? No matter what wing of the Uniparty gets in office, government gets bigger at the Federal levels and the state subsidiaries continue to expand their portfolio of zookeepers instructions to the zoo animals?

I am only slightly encouraged by the repeal of a number of regulations under the Trump regime but don’t anticipate the Deep State taking this lying down. Some of these repeals actually expand the power of the Federal government. I would urge you to examine the Brookings Institution findings on the repealed rules and regulations. It is not what you think it is.

But then again, the Federal budget continues to accelerate under the Grand Old Politburo.

4.7 trillion dollars.

4.7,000,000,000,000 Federal debt bucks.

Even the communist vermin at the NYT approved.

As the Founding Lawyers often cautioned, a self-governing republic doesn’t have a governing class. Picking politicians to lead humans to the promised land is a fools errand, and a great way to put off facing reality. All politics leads to plantations and gulags and worse. One solution is “Irish democracy,” the phenomenon by which the general members of a polity resist the mandates of their zookeepers by simply refusing to comply with them. It is a low-cost form of civil disobedience, but one that can be very effective at times: Gandhi was entirely correct in his famous declaration to the British powers that they would eventually be forced to simply pack up their tiffin pails and go home, because 300,000 Englishman could not control 300 million (at the time) Indians if those Indians didn’t cooperate.

Got history? Prohibition is Exhibit A.

Those who have followed me know that I am a severe skeptic of the Constitution so I rarely use the document and its appendages to sustain any argument for liberty. There’s a reason one must rely on the Federalist-opposed Bill of Rights to defend oneself (good luck) in the just-us system. The body of the Constitution is simply a blueprint for the leviathan state.

I consider defensive and offensive lethal arms to be an a priori right that all humans are born with and don’t have to quote the awkwardly constructed Second Amendment for whose clauses in reverse may have saved it from its fate as a quaint anachronism.

The Federal judiciary has ruled on the Second Amendment; whatever the federal Orcs wish to do, they will justify it employing the legal frameworks of the 1934 NFA, 1938 FFA, 1939 US v. Miller, 1967 Mulford Act (CA), 1968 OCC & SSA and GCA, 1986 FOPA, Undetectable Firearms Act of 1988, Gun-Free School Zones Act (1990), Brady Act (1993), AWB (1994), the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act and Child Safety Lock Act (2005), The National Instant Criminal Background Check System (“NICS”) Improvement Amendments Act (2007) on and on and on.

Hence the self-proclaimed interpreters of the Constitution (the original robed cross-dressers) have interpreted the fuck out of it and found they could shred it to the point of being a ghost of its ambition in the eighteenth century. Ask yourself, if you behaved like a politician, would you want all the people you fleece, tax and threaten everyday to have the means to end you?

While I tend to find the moral argument for guns for more persuasive, the numbers certainly do not add up for the prohibitionists.

I have found two massive studies that essentially prove through data, metrics and numbers that no government prohibition or restrictions on private weapons reduces the incidence of alleged misuse of firearms.

Nothing.

Here: https://www.rand.org/research/gun-policy/analysis/mass-shootings.html

Here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1E0kkg5kdDoP6xMvXKd9kSLV_-0m8bluyV5Cp2F__U2c/edit#gid=195352044

The conclusion for me is the private weapons culture is not as remotely toxic/incorrect as the collectivists and their media puppets want to tell us it is.

Already proven by the fact that the usual preening private weapons prohibitionist muppets are willing to run their mouths with no fear that some lunatic might try to kill them.

Antifa’s first mass shooter has made his appearance.

The collectivists are sharpening the long knives but non-compliance may make their task a tad difficult.

The failed Canadian firearms registry was a textbook example of Irish Democracy in action. When the dust finally settled the system became so flawed the coproaches don’t rely on it and it’s not used in court as evidence. When the Canadian Liberals tried to have all firearms registered under the Canadian firearm registry, a part of the process the feds changed was the licensing system. It was changed from the FAC (Firearms Acquisition Certificate) the the present day PAL (Possession Acquisition License). When they did this, they made it known in the media and via snail mail to all gun owners that any restricted/prohibited firearms would have to be re-registered. A majority of firearms owners who had restricted/prohibited firearms took advantage of this and re-registered nothing. So, now there are a lot of gone guns out there because all the old records including restricted/prohibited firearms under the old FAC system, were destroyed (allegedly).

Bad news for statists, the genie cannot be restored to its intellectual and engineering prison.

Tree of liberty, indeed.

  1. No, Bill, not half the country. About 65 million $hillary voters and perhaps as many another 20 million persons, including children under 18 who are solidly red communist. There are easily another 20 million Trump supporters and Republican-socialists of various stripes. So, on the close order of one-third of the country, not a half. About a third of the country doesn’t vote, doesn’t file income tax papers, doesn’t respond to the census. The other third of the country are the remaining 43 million Trump supporters, third-party voters, and the remaining children under 18. Tens of millions of Americans are likely to resist any attempt to seize guns on a mass scale.

New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, the coastal counties of California, Oregon, Washington, and the Democrat majority cities of Texas are lost to hard-core communism. The rest of the country has a fighting chance to survive the collapse.

  4. Bill you are going to be more unhappy in the next life than you are in this one. There has to be a government as big as a posse. And the Constitution is not just good it is the best ever written for a moral, Christian people, which we no longer are. We as a country have let this happen, and will be rewarded with judgement, until our real ruler arrives on scene. There will be a GOOD world like it or not.
