Kill the Second Amendment: Let’s Get This Party Started! by Bill Buppert

Vegas shooting…

Too early to speculate on anything but one thing. Many of the injuries sustained in the aftermath of the shooter’s demise on a floor of a Vegas hotel will be non-gunshot wound related.

Is he a left wing nut-sack or a right wing nut-sack? Look at the demographic of the target and that will ready the clue-bat. Does anyone doubt that if any of the bipedal budgies in the MSM discovered a Republican affiliation, we’d know it by now?

Mass shootings are no worse here than in gun prohibitionist Europe:

“In fact, as figures from the Crime Prevention Research Center show, “there were 55 percent more casualties per capita from mass public shootings in [the European Union] than U.S. from 2009-15.”

Now the blood dancers of both wings of the Vampire Party will be gathering around their boiling kettles of Marxist to call for mass disarmament of one flavor or another. The usual invertebrates from the kabuki performers in the National Rifle Association will come to many agreements on the worst legislation possible.

The Second Amendment means nothing. Its tortured and twisted language construct has allowed the violence brokers in the political classes to institute massive volumes of rules and regulation restricting human defense activities across the board.

I’ve written about it before.

The Republican wing of the Marxist junta in America has been waging war on private ownership of firearms since Lincoln first squatted in the Offal Office.

The state is only opposed to the PRIVATE ownership of weapons.

As one can surmise, there is no political solution to weapons ownership. Self-defense predates every government solution ever devised. It’s written in the DNA.

Whatever political machination you see on the glass teat as human parrots squawk and play at arguing with each other, none will entertain the only moral solution: not a single gun law survives tomorrow morning.

Sometime back there was a brief flash in the pan to make contemporary taxpayers pay for the slavery imposed on blacks until the passage of the Constitutional amendment granting their freedom from chattel slavery but not releasing them from the tax and regulation plantation that is America.  Hence the new era slave would be codified in the Fourteenth Amendment. The reparations movement sought to redistribute current wealth to any Americans who could prove their ancestors were in chains and they would be granted reparations or a payment for restoration into the original condition they were seeking.

I am always unsympathetic to any forcible wealth transfer and especially one that would be fraught with the peril of fraud and the creation of yet another nightmarish bureaucracy charged with imposing tolls on living and breathing human beings to be vacuumed out of their wallets and tucked into others’ coffers after the government takes its usual sizeable “maintenance fee” to administer such a program.

There was one laudatory effect of such a proposal though; nothing focuses people’s attention more than the potential hijacking of their wealth or rights for specious political reasons such as the latest economic illiteracy and fiscal cliff diving that characterized the wholesale takeover of healthcare by the government and the imposition of national socialist healthcare.  The reparations movement did the same thing, nothing would have focused the national race conversation more than the shenanigans I just described.

The addition of yet another government theft scheme to rob from Paul to pay Peter. But then again, what else is government for besides filling mass graves with the unwilling and recalcitrant.

Now we are facing down The Amphibian and all of Trump’s apparatchiks in the fight to keep guns in the hands of private citizens (or subjects depending on your point of view).  Oh, you haven’t heard? Wait for it.

The usual suspects in the media are clamoring to extinguish all such rights in the march toward turning America into a curious amalgam of modern Great Britain, the former USSR and more regrettable aspects of tin-pot dictatorships around the planet that are terminally frightened by well armed citizens.

So repeal the goddamned Second Amendment. Just do it.

You will hear it.

The government supremacist shit-stain, George Will, called for it. I used to admire this conservative but he, like so many of his brethren became a reliable copra-phage for the state.

The call for repeal of the Second Amendment is nothing new, a cursory internet search will reveal hundred of opinion-editorials and the usual collectivist vermin calling for this to happen; they, of course, hail from the government supremacist viewpoints of the collectivist keening and whining that is the national media voice in America on both Fox and CNN and everything in between (excepting the lonely planetary outpost at ZeroGov).

Not that the 2A is worth the paper it’s printed on. The 2A is a sham to protect weapons ownership. It has no teeth whatsoever. If it did, how could the 1934 NFA, 1938 FFA, the decision in US v. Miller in 1939, 1968 GCA, Nixon’s pogrom against handguns, the 1986 FOPA, Bushevik I’s ban on foreign cosmetically offensive weapons in 1989, the NICs, the AWB all the way to the conservative zombie Scalia’s Leninist bromide about “dangerous and unusual weapons”. On and on and on.

I am calling for repeal because I think every gun law on the books is wrong without exception and they all need to be eliminated so this appeal is rather lonesome and hails from an individualist perspective that is skeptical of all state power.  Those who have read my work in the past know that I am not only a Constitutional skeptic but believe it is the machine to create and expand big government.

I happen to think the “Founder’s lexicon” has lost all descriptive power such as the term “unconstitutional” and Constitutional, they both mean the same thing in a country that regulates and taxes nearly every form of human transaction without exception.

A movement to repeal would reset the entire conversation, bring honesty to the dialog since the stark reality of absolute disarmament would be imminent and possibly lead to revolutionary arborists tending the Tree of Liberty.

The compliance rates for armaments registration in the great Soviet states of New York and CT have set many a politician to despondency over the lack of obedience of their Helots.

The recent massacres involving various madmen, big pharma patients and other human detritus have set the usual suspects into a flurry of activity to dust off the old prohibitionist bromides that have worked so well in the past like the banishment of alcohol, drugs, poverty and other such crusades that always exsanguinate the subject populations but enrich and expand the political class and its legions of constabulary.  Prohibition is a jobs program for cops.

The repeal of the Volstead Amendment prohibiting alcohol in America on December 5th, 1933 briefly took the wind out of the sails of American law enforcement but the creation of the 1930 Federal Bureau of Narcotics and the 1934 National Firearms Act quickly built on the utter failure of the Volstead Act by seeing lightning could strike twice and give a new lease on life to the lifeblood of every nation-state: police employment.

FDR, may he roast on the same as Stalin in hell, said the following gem:

“When the present administration took office ten countries had ratified the Geneva Narcotic Limitation Convention. The United States was one of these ten…. It was my privilege, as President, to proclaim, on that day, that this treaty had become effective throughout the jurisdiction of the United States….On Jan. 1, 1933, only nine nations had registered their ratification of the limitation treaty. On Jan. 1, 1935, only nine States had adopted the uniform State statute. As 1933 witnessed ratification of the treaty by thirty-one additional nations, so may 1935 witness the adoption of the uniform drug act by at least thirty-one more states, thereby placing interstate accord abreast of international accord, to the honor of the legislative bodies of our States and for the promotion of the welfare of our people and the peoples of other lands.”

—Zombie Franklin D. Roosevelt, March 1935 in a radio message

I would suggest that there is only one way to truly focus the debate on civilian disarmament in the United States.  In the larger picture, this is yet another attack by the Federal government and its subsidiary political agents in the states on yet another aspect of self-sufficiency.  Whether it is food production such as raw milk, education such as homeschooling or the ability of its subjects to defend themselves, the government will always take a dim view of such behavior.

The police are nothing more than a government shock collar on the tax cattle milling about the vast plantations disguised as states. Cops are the tyrant’s cattle prod and when the peer weapons competency of citizens starts to match or exceed that of the praetorians, all governments get very nervous and use every opportunity to strip this capability from their subject populations in the vast feed lots they administer.

So let’s stop beating around the bush.  If the NRA were serious about firearms freedom, they would spend every last dime dismantling every root and branch of Federal control legislation from the numerous congressional Acts that abridge small arms freedom to the enforcement agencies of these bad laws.

But they don’t because then they would achieve their objective and close shop.  They would be unable to continuing gallivanting around the halls of Congress wining and dining psychopaths and sociopaths of both parties.  The NRA wants government control of weapons otherwise they would mount ceaseless attacks on every article of civilian disarmament legislation and legal decisions that emerge.

At the Federal level, the only way to end this is to move to repeal the Second Amendment. National Prohibition had been repealed by the Twenty-first Amendment which contains two short but important sentences:

Section 1: The eighteenth article of amendment to the Constitution of the United States is hereby repealed.

Section 2: The transportation or importation into any State, Territory, or Possession of the United States for delivery or use therein of intoxicating liquors, in violation of the laws thereof, is hereby prohibited.

For the purposes of the Second Amendment, it will read:

Section 1: The second article of amendment to the Constitution of the United States is hereby repealed.

Section 2: The transportation, importation, possession and bearing of any firearms into any State, Territory, or Possession of the United States for delivery or use therein of weapons, in violation of the laws thereof, is hereby prohibited.

Nothing will focus the country better than the national debate that would ensue once the civilian disarmament lobby dropped the mask and finally entered into an honest conversation about the actual end-state they seek.

Unlike the current divide-and-conquer strategies that the government leverages within the gun community such as pitting hunters and shot-gunners against black-rifle aficionados; instead of simmering in the pot as the incremental forces of the gun prohibitionists gain traction inch by inch.  The Repeal would bring the entire agenda into crystal clarity and the fight and demarcation lines would no longer be subject to obfuscation, political gamesmanship and dissembling.  The agenda would be stark and distilled to its essence:

Will a country that strips its citizens of individual armament be as safe and trouble free as the civilian disarmament advocates claim?   Can American exceptionalism make it the ahistorical example where liberty and freedom reigns in a country where every peer weapons capability is imbalanced toward a government monopoly on small arms in its police and military? Lastly, can the US government be trusted to do the right thing?

Nothing will answer that question more clearly than a movement to repeal the Second Amendment.

That national conversation will be revealing and scintillating to say the least.

Repeal the Second Amendment. Burn that fucker to the ground.

…and get your war-face on.

“A system of licensing and registration is the perfect device to deny gun ownership to the bourgeoisie.”

    1. GGll is right.

You write lots of excellent stuff, but this gets to the crux of it all. It was always going to come down to guns. Just the truth guns in the hands of Freemen exist in America has always been the bulwark against a world dominion State. They can not risk opening that Pandora’s box. So they pick away bit by bit, a little here a little there, and like the goose, we turn around one day and notice we have no feathers. That’s what all this cunning sneaky disarmament crap is about. Shit, they practically have stacked Congress and the State houses with hoplophobes.

Mao was right about guns. But he had it ass backwards. It is OUR guns that control the party. Most of us don’t see it. The truth is if we as a body of men were not thinly armed & equipped as we are, we would be living in Amerika long time ago.

      Its all about guns.

We need to get done with this contest between sovereign men & the statist fuckers behind this. They will never beat us. They can not win a contest of armed legitimacy. They will fold like a cheap suit. Once that begins it will be a cascade failure of the State, when it begins it will happen so fast it will blow our minds.

Your right Bill, because the secession from the State 1 & 2 in 1776 & 1862 was & is the only true acts of armed abolition in the western hemisphere in the modern era. Right because as long as any of us who love liberty, as long as we breath, just our existence, the fact liberty is possible, that we are men born into liberty, keeps the sonofabitches from completing their conquest.

They have always, since the Fabian’s started, had to destroy all vestiges of the character and embodiment of America, its warts and all, as fought for & founded.

Its been a conspiracy from the start, from the moment the ink dried on that instrument of administrative tyranny.

And our property, our guns, is the first thing, they have never been able to work around. Whats happening, whats going to happen is inevitable, it can’t be stopped now.

We are going to end up exactly as you say Bill, “Get This Party Started.”

        1. As terrible the prospect of what a nation wide disarmament act would bring, there is also a refreshing prospect to it.

I can only speak for myself. At this point I welcome what Bill argues for. I have been around long enough to know when to call a cat a cat. I relish the opportunity to slug it out with this monstrosity we call government. I’m fed up, had enough of its bullshit. Its time to fight, have it out. I wish it would stop beating around the bush also and get on with it. The whole construct needs to burn to the ground and the earth it occupied everywhere salted with radioactive cobalt so it can never again grow roots and sprout firth.

Call me a crazy provincial, but provincial is what is required. Provincial as in its the dirt people who “Inherit the Earth”. What needs to be done with can only be remedied by it being done with in total.

Personally, I need the leviathan to go postal on the roots of my God given primal rights, because if I’m going to fight total resistance, I want there to be absolutely no question my fight is as legitimate as legitimate can be, because I want to fight with no doubts, no reservations, to fight with total disregard, no mercy, no quarter, for the state and in particular its actors.

I hope it is reading these words. I want it to know, yes, you agent provocateurs and sycophants also lurking around, you have gone too far, you deserve total war on your arses, you have richly earned the rage and comeuppance for your treason and high crimes unparalleled in all of history, for here I am, the enemy you have so tirelessly and recklessly labored to create to justify your crimes.

Careful what you wish for, for I am not a singular threat to your power and ill gotten riches, I am Legion, though I can not speak for any but myself, that too I have been around long enough to know I am not alone, that thousands, probably millions like me share many aspects of Liberty in common.

We are a plurality that once started, we will never stop till WE do. We can not be argued with, we can not be bargained with, we will not back down, we know no fear to stop us, once we are unleashed.

The greatest mistake you all have made was all of us could have it all. We could have had everything, prosperity and happiness, intrinsic real wealth beyond imagination, productivity and invention unequaled, the sky was literally the limit, and we went there too.

But you all squandered it all for your pieces of silver and the fantasy you have power over me. That’s where you made your gravest mistake: power over me, Paaa! I spit in your face. Your nothing but crooks liars cons and thieves. Scum! You got nothing on men like me.

And you will loose. Loose everything. Because that is how these things roll. Remember that and what I’m saying to you. I am Legion.

  3. I haven’t yet read the entire post, up until your comment on your skepticism of the constitution. All this nonsense would be easily dismantled if more Americans would read (and attempt to understand the language of) Spooner. I wasn’t privy for some time, but he actually out it all quite simply.

Albeit, I’m not surprised at the typical responses to gun control and mass shootings. Just ironic that so many support military and police, but not gun rights and the “constitution.”

  8. Bill, your wording was far too concise.

Re-write the legislation to be around 2000 pages saying precisely the same thing and we may have a chance to get it passed.

Also, your use of the word “fucker” in an academic essay was flawless.

    Bravissimo!

  9. Another essay fighting for yardage towards the communist enemy’s goalposts. Another essay positioning government and its behavior as the most important thing in civilization. The rulers don’t care if you hate them — what the rulers need is that you pay attention to them. Get out the vote! Demonstrate! Donate!! Just like the NRA.

To eliminate government, stop paying slaveowners to oppress you. Carry pistols everywhere, take the license plates off your car, stop paying taxes, turn off the government media channels, and get on with your life. The free state projects did anonymous web signups to coordinate their actions. You could do the same to coordinate a million fed-up victims to remove their car license tags the same day.

  10. I’m with you “lets get this party started” and your right about the NRA….they could of resolved this years ago.

  11. Sounds like that CIA employee from Connecticut.

We have got to accept Big Government for the duration–for neither an offensive nor a defensive war can be waged, given our present government skills, except through the instrument of a totalitarian bureaucracy within our shores. … And if they deem Soviet power a menace to our freedom (as I happen to), they will have to support large armies and air forces, atomic energy, central intelligence, war production boards, and the attendant centralization of power in Washington-even with Truman at the reins of it all.

The Amish succeed at living their own lives, and they didn’t need to attack anywhere on the basis of a domino theory. The last thing government wants discussed is a liberty strategy which actually works. That’s why the gun-using Deacons for Defense and Justice were wiped from the MLK history. Weren’t you military intelligence? It doesn’t matter if this non-working-strategy you offer is conscious, or something some government employee programmed you with when you were eleven. It’s a distraction.

Set liberty day a month from now, so people have time to get their paper wealth out into coins.

  12. There has never been a government that banned it’s own ARMED FORCES from “Keeping and Bearing” ARMS.

Find one government in the history of humanity that felt a need to document a “RIGHT” for it’s ARMED FORCES to possess ARMS.
Oppressive Governments are ALWAYS banning the People’S RIGHTS to arms.
The claim that the Founding Fathers wrote the 2nd Amendment to give Our ARMED FORCES a “right” to keep and carry ARMS is S-T-U-P-I-D.
The only reason for the Second Amendment is to clearly spell-out the GOD GIVEN RIGHT of INDIVIDUALS to keep & bear ARMS.
The only reason for the BILL(list) of RIGHTS was to codify INDIVIDUALS’ GOD GIVEN RIGHTS.
Has there ever been a government that was not chock full of it’s “rights” up to and including declaring itself to be the Lord God Almighty?! (Rome, Egypt, Israel, etc)
Does the 1st Amendment mean the GOVERNMENT is allowed to give speeches? Try shutting up any Politician. But THEY would LOVE to shut YOU up, hence the FIRST Amendment.
Anyone who tells you the 2nd Amendment applies to the Army or State Militia, is telling you they think you are STUPID.
There has NEVER been a government that felt it had to codify it’s army’s/soldier’s “RIGHT” to “Keep and BEAR ARMS” because there has NEVER been a government that refused to allow It’s own soldiers to KEEP and BEAR ARMS!
The Second Amendment was given to the People, like all the other rights in the Bill or Rights. This was confirmed by the SCOTUS in the DC vs Heller decision, where they stated that the “People” in the Second Amendment were the same “People” that are mentioned in the First and Fourth Amendment.
The 2nd Amendment clearly guarantees the “right of the PEOPLE to keep and bear arms”, and certainly not “the Militia”.
Why would “the Militia”, a type of army manned by citizen-soldiers as opposed to full-time “regulars”, need a constitutional amendment to guarantee they have the right “to keep and bear arms”?
Is there any specific statement anywhere in the Constitution that the army Congress is empowered to raise has the “right to keep and bear arms”?

Of course not. …………. That is assumed.

“The beauty of the Second Amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it.” — Thomas Jefferson

It is implicit in the nature of all kinds of armies —- be they militia or regulars, volunteer, conscripted, or mercenary — to be armed.
    They are all “armed forces”.
    They all “bear arms”.
    They all carry guns.
    That is what they do.
It certainly no more requires an amendment to the Constitution to state that “the Militia” has the RKBA , than a specific statement that the army Congress is empowered to raise may be manned by armed troops.

“The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals … it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government … it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen’s protection against the government.” Ayn Rand

  13. After a long train of abuses and usurpations evincing a design to reduce everyone under the boot of tyranny, it is the option of the people to throw down such “government” and institute free markets to better protect their interests.

  14. The Second Amendment is hereby repealed.

    In its place:

Article I. Whereas an armed population is the most basic essential for the preservation of life, liberty, and the prevention of oppression and tyranny, and whereas the possession and use of arms is the most ancient birthright and proudest mark of the free man down through human history, all citizens and residents of the Northwest American Republic shall enjoy the right to keep and to bear firearms and other personal arms for defense of the state and of their lives and property.

The right to keep and bear arms shall not be qualified or restricted by any requirement of licensing, registration, fee, taxation, restriction on transportation, or other such impediment.

The purchase, acquisition, ownership, possession, transportation, or manufacture of ammunition, powder, cartridge casings, and other ancillary equipment or supplies necessary to the exercise of the right to keep and bear arms shall not be restricted or otherwise interfered with by any governmental authority.
