Publisher’s Note: The drama continues as the Deep State increases the pace of assaults on the Mango Mussolini time and again. While the present empty suit in the Offal Office has been a severe disappointment on the concepts of individual liberty, his ability to cause derangement, incoherence and lunacy on the collectivists left of center, I thank him for that.

You will note that when the Grand Old Politburo had control of the levers of power, they similarly ramped up the amperage on all government power grabs domestically and foreign mischief to maim and kill American lads.

In other news, the F-Troop boys are shitting their pants over having missed a bullet in this interesting case.

“Mountainous terrain held by riflemen who know what they are about cannot be militarily defeated”.
Buppert’s Law of Military Topography:
Or more simply: “Drive a rifle or ride a railcar.”

“The simple and terrifying reality, forbidden from discussion in America, was that despite spending $600 billion a year on the military, despite having the best fighting force the world had ever known, they were getting their asses kicked by illiterate peasants who made bombs out of manure and wood.”

Michael Hastings, The Operators: The Wild and Terrifying Inside Story of America’s War in Afghanistan

Weapons of war!

Mrs. Beta O’Rourke, America’s first trans-sexual clown and Awful Office candidate,  has declared that all non-government employees/apparatchiks should be stripped of their weapons; she insists that the government will buy back what it doesn’t own to prevent the dozens [you heard that right] of people killed by evil black rifles domestically in the USSA. Hell yeah, she’ll take your private property but certainly won’t do so personally but in the tradition of limp-dick cowardly violence brokers planet-wide, send his armed government workers (with evil black rifles!) to pry it from the taxpayer’s dead hands.

I have always considered the GOP to be the weak and mealy-mouthed abused younger sister to the abusive bigger sister in the guise of the control freak Democrats. They have not let me down.

Whatever weapon prohibition nonsense comes across the desk for the Orange Oracle to sign, he will sign it. He is a NYC progressive who has no conception of the notion of unregulated private weapons ownership; it is an entirely alien concept to him.

He will sign anything his Santa’s little helpers or his communist daughter tell him to. If you expect anything else, well, you’re delusional.

Most cases of individual volition and virtuous agency meet moral and consequentialist arguments. In this case, unfettered private weapons ownership is not only the marker for ultimate self-ownership but the sheer astronomical insignificance statistically of weapons injuries and deaths in America is low by any mathematical standard.

Let’s examine the rifle data:

“Recently Attorney General William Barr asked how his critics would have reacted had the FBI secretly interfered with the Obama campaign: “What if the shoe were on the other foot?” From a Leninist perspective, this question demonstrates befuddlement. In his book Terrorism and Communism, Trotsky imagines “the high priests of liberalism” asking how Bolshevik use of arbitrary power differs from tsarist practices. Trotsky sneers:

You do not understand this, holy men? We shall explain it to you. The terror of Tsarism was directed against the proletariat. . . . Our Extraordinary Commissions shoot landlords, capitalists, and generals . . . . Do you grasp this—distinction? For us Communists it is quite sufficient.

What is reprehensible for them is proper for us, and that’s all there is to it. For a Leninist, the shoe is never on the other foot because he has no other foot.”

“Here’s what libertarians think: you shouldn’t commit acts of aggression against peaceful people.”

Publisher’s Note: The non-stop communist nonsense doesn’t seem to end.

Here is a nice reflection on everything the CPUSA wants to ban and remember that banning means are large, aggressive and violent government to prohibit and control all within its realm. Here’s a thought experiment (and, yes, the GOP pursues much of the same nonsense): if the Democrats plan to prohibit, regulate or ban, what would they talk about? The joys and subsidy of adolescent mutilation in the pursuit of the sexual construct, race reparations and the idolatry of the green communist religion?

I love the current stable of jackasses who comprise the walking and talking de-institutionalized mentally and morally defective human train wrecks. pursuing the 2020 CPUSA nomination.

I love intersectional cannibalism! Yo cannot make this shit up…

This blog has condemned police behavior since its founding, hell, I was grokking the metastasizing police state threat on Lew Rockwell before I was excommunicated by Lew his-own-self. Everybody is catching on, Herschel has been doing a capital job over at The Captain’s Journal, a daily read for me.

Keep in mind that the internal coup attempt to get Pantsuit Negan into office conducted by the FBI, CIA and DOJ in 2016 were all manifestations of the police state.

A gentle reminder, readers: DO NOT WATCH OR CONSUME MAINSTREAM MEDIA PROPAGANDA.

Only read editorials both agree and disagree with you, the bias filters are clearly identified and you run less of a chance of being deceived by fake news.

Brendan O’Neill on the Magic Retard, Greta Thunberg, in Spiked:

“Most radical protest and direct action is aimed at officialdom or government or people with power. This macabre schlep through London was aimed squarely at ordinary people. Banners and placards made no disguise of the marchers’ contempt for how the masses live. We were told that ‘Meat = heat’ (that is, if you carry on eating meat, you fat bastards, the planet will get even hotter) and that driving and flying are destroying Mother Earth. Of course, it’s okay for them to fly – Emma Thompson jetted first-class from LA to London to lecture us plebs about all our eco-destructive holidaymaking. It’s only a problem when we do it; it’s only bad when we take advantage of the miracle of mass food production and the expansion of flight to make our lives fuller and more pleasurable. They detest that. They detest mass society and its inhabitants: the masses.”

All government supremacist radical protests and loose bowels have been aimed at people and power structures because the collectivist Marxian elites despise normal humans who have a range of action tethered by their better micromanaging of everything you do.

That is the very nature of politics.

Hmmm…

During the Viking Age, there was a man called Þorgnýr the Lawspeaker. The Lawspeaker’s office made him spokesmen for Swedes who owned their own farms—while not ‘citizens’ in our sense, they were a class of ordinary free people whose interests sometimes differed from those of their kings and lords. One such king, for reasons of pride, tried to draw Þorgnýr’s people into an unwanted war. This resulted in an outcry, and the king held a public meeting to persuade the people to go along. Þorgnýr spoke at this meeting, and reminded the King that seven previous kings had been drowned in a nearby well when they proved resistant to the advice of the people, and should reconsider his war.

I would like to thank all the readers who have hit the tip jar, I am indebted to your patronage and loyalty.

The existential unmasking of the Deep State…

Long-time readers of this blog know I take a rather elegant but simplistic view of power. Race, class and groin tackle are not what make the world tick despite the hundreds of billions of debt-bucks utterly wasted in faculty salt mines, salons and lounges across the fetid plain.

It is power and in particular, the exercise of initiated violence which is the easiest definition of state power devised. The meat puppets in suits whether elected or the nameless low-information apparatchiks stealing oxygen in government offices planet-wide, this comprises the bedrock of all violence brokerage.

Who in their right mind will comply with most of the garbage spewed and enforced by these Marxian mandarins? Ed Abby has a gem for this: “The best thing about graduating from the university was that I finally had time to sit on a log and read a good book.”

And remember absent the beloved coproach, no violence broker at any level of the precious state could rob you of one fraction of your individual liberty and freedom. And make no mistake, the coproach is an armed Leninist willing to stop at nothing to enforce their political masters’ will.

I don’t like the Mango Mussolini in the Offal Office but then again, there hasn’t been a moral human in that building since it was established. The British did a fine job burning it down in 1814 but the usual suspects simply built it again. Trump is a NYC progressive whose instincts tend to a wicked blend of private and public entrepreneurship. The latter are the titans of filling their pockets with taxpayer-thieved debt-bucks and every agency in the bloated federal government have their share of these pigs rooting at the trough to secure their private fiefdoms of revolving door projects and manpower drains.

As anyone alive knows, urinalists who fancy themselves newsmen are nothing more than stenographers for the state hence the overwhelming bias of government supremacism in every aspect of the mainstream media in the US if not the world. They do this for three primary reasons:

  • They tend to be intellectually dim and morally stunted which gives a natural inclination to government supremacism
  • Journalists know that any criticism of government will shut off their access to all manner of state creatures and orcs plying their trade in the smothering agencies that pollute the American landscape today.
  • The education establishment that creates these statist goons is monolithic in its view of the benefits of big government and communism.

Like social media, any journalist or human for that matter, who is opposed to human slavery, communism and abortion will find themselves shut out of “polite company” and the access ports to fabricated Deep State bilge that issues forth from every government agency from the local to the federal level.

I live near Tucson, Arizona and it is a Marxian hellhole with the highest taxes in fifteen counties in the state, Democratic lock on majorities in both the county and the city and the highest paid county administrator in the country second only to Los Angeles. Comrade Chuckleberry gets a cool 320,000 debt-bucks a year to maintain and advance the third world conditions and rotting paved arterials that criss-cross the lovely hell-scapes of Plissken Acres,  and Harare Townships. The University of Arizona is here producing the mountains of worthless degrees and shambling Marxian space aliens posing as young humans. Let’s not forget the idiotic “street car” that travels 3.9 miles through the downtown commie shitpit of greater Tucson, it only cost 50 million a mile for construction.

Publisher’s Note: In southern California for the weekend, it truly is like being in East Berlin in 1985 if that benighted city were in a desert. Everything is subject to regulation, I discovered that the enviruses are eliminating the private septic systems (the environment!) and forcing all Yucca Valley residents to hook up to the centrally planned sewer system at a forced cost of $20,000 per household with the state kindly adding the amount to their property with a one percent vig. I am certain if one were to examine the audit trail on this nonsense, you would find a convenient junction of private interests leveraging the gun of the state; much like the requirement in AZ for rabies vaccines for all pets unfortunate enough to have owners who license them to provide a nice guaranteed income for AZ veterinarians.

Wild animals accounted for 91 percent of reported cases of rabies in 2017. The lack of cooperation of wildlife to get their vaccinations leaves scientists baffled.

The rabies scam is even affecting the Brexiteers as the apparatchiks in Brussels put the screws to the runaway slaves.

Once we crossed the state line from free AZ (relatively), fuel prices increased a solid dollar per gallon in the benighted California landscape.

Not to be outdone, the feds:

While spending a record $4,155,323,000,000, the Feral government ran a deficit of $1,067,156,000,000.” Total federal tax theft in the first eleven months of fiscal 2019 equaled $3,088,167,000,00.”

Keep in mind that Comrade-Governor Gavin in Calidishu has proposed a record 213 billion dollar budget to fund the Soviet experiment on the west coast. Six percent minus of the total budget approved by the Mango Emperor.

They tax and regulate EVERYTHING in Cali…

“When California rolled out its marijuana tax plan, I, and pretty much everyone else who follows the industry from a business perspective, cringed. Aside from state and local taxation that would apply to any retail sale, California also tacked on a 15% excise tax to recreational weed sales, along with a cultivation tax on growers. This tax worked out to either $9.25 per ounce of cannabis flower, or $2.75 per ounce of cannabis leaves. All told, consumers in some counties could be paying as much as 45% in aggregate tax on legal weed.”

 Of course they did.

Astonishing.

A stack of one-dollar bills equivalent to this current revenue theft is 281,983 miles, the rough equivalent of the distance between the Earth and the moon.

That 22 trillion-dollar stack of one debt-buck bills is equivalent to 1,493,052 miles.

No social shifts have caused greater quakes than collectivist women’s causes in concert with the franchise at the federal level enabling the mass transfer of wealth from other people’s wallets and the curious notion of indenturing the unborn through debt without their permission. The notion of collectivism is built on the perversion that humans are nothing but economic engines and beasts of burden to fashion the vision of violence brokers. Taxpayers are the modern equivalent of Hebrew slaves building the pyramids for the Egyptian political class.

We know why:

“However good their intentions are, progressives cannot be trusted with unchecked power, for the simple reason that no human beings can be trusted with unchecked power. It is precisely because their behavior is so well explained by power maximization that we should do everything we can to keep them from it.”

The CPUSA house organ, the New York Times, discovered some unwelcome revelations for their narrative:

“Again, analysis regarding the AR-15 the so-called weapon of choice of mass shooters produces less-than-impressive numbers. Between 2007 and 2018, 173 people were killed by mass shooters using an AR-15, according to a New York Times analysis roughly, 15 per year. (For perspective, 13 people die per year from vending machines falling on them.) The fearmongering regarding this weapon becomes even more apparent when one considers the estimated 8 million AR-15s currently in circulation the vast majority of which will never be involved in a crime.”

2 – If gun control laws actually worked, Chicago would be Mayberry, USA.

3 – The Second Amendment makes more women equal than the entire feminist movement.

4 – Legal gun owners have 300 million guns and probably a trillion rounds of ammo. Seriously, folks, if we were the problem, you’d know it.

5 – When JFK was killed, nobody blamed the rifle

6 – The NRA murders 0 people and receives $0 in government funds. Planned Parenthood kills 350,000 babies every year and receives $500,000,000 in tax dollars annually.

7 – I have no problem with vigorous background checks when it comes to firearms. While we’re at it, let’s do the same when it comes to immigration, Voter I.D and candidates running for office.

8 – You don’t need a smoke detector; that’s what the fire department is for. Now… if you think that sounds stupid, you know how I feel when you say I don’t need a gun.

9 – Folks keep talking about another Civil War. One side knows how to shoot and probably has a trillion rounds. The other side has safe spaces, crying closets and is confused about which bathroom to use. Now tell me, how do you think that’s going to end?”

“Kill the stoolie!” That was it, the vital link! A knife in the heart of the stoolie! Make knives and cut the stoolie’s throats — that was it!

Now as I write this chapter, rows of humane books frown down at me from the walls, the tarnished gilt on their well-worn spines glinting reproachfully like stars through the cloud. Nothing in the world should be sought through violence! By taking up the sword, the knife, the rifle, we quickly put ourselves on the level of tormentors and persecutors. And there will be no end to it. …

There will be no end. … Here, at my desk, in a warm place, I agree completely.

If you ever get twenty-five years for nothing, if you find yourself wearing four number patches on your clothes, holding your hands permanently behind your back, submitting to searches morning and evening, working until you are utterly exhausted, dragged into the cooler whenever someone denounces you, trodden deeper and deeper into the ground — from the hole you’re in, the fine words of the great humanists will sound like the chatter of the well-fed and free.

There will be no end of it! … But will there be a beginning? Will there be a ray of hope in our lives or not?

The oppressed at least concluded that evil cannot be cast out by good.”

– Alexandr Solzhenitsyn

“Freedom demands the destruction of the security and surveillance organs and the disempowering of the millions of informants who work for the state. This is not a call to murder our own stoolies — although some of the 2.3 million prisoners in cages in America’s own gulags would perhaps rightly accuse me of writing this from a position of privilege and comfort and not understanding the brutal dynamics of oppression – but instead to accept that unless these informants on the streets, in the prisons and manning our massive, government data-collection centers are disarmed we will never achieve liberty. I do not have quick and simple suggestions for how this is to be accomplished. But I know it must.”

Chris Hedges

Comrade Beta just declared that he is coming for your private property. How does the commie intend to confiscate unregistered AR15s in the states where they don’t require telling the government the disposition of your private property? Confiscation requires registration, grok it.

A note on Beto: he is the perfect Democratic candidate; completely deballed and eminently feminine in his entire philosophy of government supremacism, emotionally driven and so intellectually shallow you get the impression he may not know fourth grade math  nor know how to start a lawn mower and actually use it.

I am quite happy to see this degree of candor. Miss Beta Francis may have destroyed any chance of a firearms registry ever succeeding on American soil. The smart and resistant will not comply with such a tyrannical edict.

A friend of mine has a T-shirt with a big picture of an AR-15 and the statement, “If you come for mine, you’d better bring yours.”

Indeed…Red Flag laws are a breach of some of the most fundamental liberties and a priori rights, one would think the hasty adoption of them would cause some pause.

The astonishing feature of the red flag “laws” may be the eerily close approximation to the mass political writ that informed the British military seizure of British private property in the month of April in 1775, the government hoplophobes today are simply individualizing the mass confiscation of private weapons that characterized the “shot heard ‘round the world” in the eighteenth century.

Will this result in the deaths of citizens? It already has in Maryland.

Will this trigger a redux of the unpleasantness in the founding era. No one knows but the possibilities certainly exist.

Publisher’s Note: My reading can be eclectic at times and after reading a book on Sinatra’s contribution to increasing high fidelity in the recording industry, I got a splendid book on the history of audio media called “Perfecting Sound Forever: An Aural History of Recorded Music”. The latter book concentrates on the 1980s and the former book gives a nice snapshot of the advent and history of the album production that made the music many of us have in our personal digital archives. Both are well worth checking out.

And, no, I like Neil Young but I think the Pono idea is full of hot air. He killed it in 2017.

The Collectivist Neural Network (CNN) recently did a seven(!) hour infomercial “town hall” for the CPUSA to have their clown car posse bloviate on the climate catastrophe.

According to CNN’s Climate Town Hall, the way to stop climate change is to BAN items like hamburgers, airline travel, coal fired plants, fracking, certain light bulbs, cars, plastic bags, nuclear power plants and plastic straws while pushing for more infanticide in third world countries, increases in the minimum wage and jailing energy executives. I think LSD may have made them sound more sober and not like a bunch of Stalinist hacks in a decaying faculty lounge in East Berlin in 1986. Comrade Bernie also maintains his existential bloodlust to murder babies of color and wants to export the pogrom planet-wide. No response from the unborn yet.

And remember: “NRA DOESN’T SELL ARMS, PLANNED PARENTHOOD SELLS ARMS…” [h/t to Scott at the DiploMad2.0]

Here are four questions we knew wouldn’t be asked of the reanimated corpses running for the premiership of the CPUSA.

I am always astonished at the depth of scientific illiteracy and innumeracy and the sheer stupidity by all of these totalitarian meat puppets. It’s propaganda to push government supremacism. They want people to give up freedom for security so the usual suspects invent catastrophe.

As a former collegiate philosophy aspirant, I have maintained an interest in academic philosophy which can be a dispiriting affair. The “trans” phenomenon is now a software virus among the permanently aggrieved in faculties nation-wide and the urge to suppress ideas and speech is gaining ground (of course).

“As a thought experiment, suppose that some other group produced similar evidence that arguments against their convictions harmed them in the same way. Should we be willing to suspend critical examination of their commitments for that reason? For instance, should we stop criticizing Christianity because some Christians sincerely claim that this psychologically harms them? We wouldn’t, and shouldn’t do this. (“But Christians aren’t a systematically oppressed group!” Okay, then make them Pakistani Christians.)

It’s not uncommon to hear language that suggests anti-trans discourse constitutes harm—and perhaps even violence—against trans people—for instance, that certain expressions “invalidate,” “delegitimize,” or “erase” trans people. I find it hard to see how any kind of discourse can constitute harm, let alone violence, against any group apart from how it affects people psychologically. Calling arguments “harmful” or “violent” are plausibly examples of what I’ve called “concept inflation.””

Mind you, this is identitarian/intersectional cannibalism and I am enjoying that part. It’s like watching the Soviet Communist Party and the Communist Party of China fighting over economic illiteracy; it’s why popcorn was invented.

What you have here is a jeremiad against free speech in its simplest terms. So the fight continues and if you send your children to college, be prepared to deprogram them from the harmful totalitarian salons posing as academic discourse.

In other news, my youngest is back in the states and I got a chance to spend almost three weeks with him. He arrived from Okitraz at 2200 when I picked him up from the airport and we were headed to the range at 0530 the following morning.

“Any single man must judge for himself whether circumstances warrant obedience or resistance to the commands of the civil magistrate; we are all qualified, entitled, and morally obliged to evaluate the conduct of our rulers. This political judgment, moreover, is not simply or primarily a right, but like self-preservation, a duty to God. As such it is a judgment that men cannot part with according to the God of Nature. It is the first and foremost of our inalienable rights without which we can preserve no other.”

– John Locke

“I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.”

― Frank Herbert, Dune

Question obedience and not authority, the rest will follow. As individual human beings, we come into the world naked and leave on a slab or in a coffee can in the same condition barring what was in the mind, heart and soul at the conclusion of the life lived. Volumes of books have been written on the life worth living and millions of solutions offered to live the good life or the examined life or the other life on and on. Some use philosophical or religious justification for their achievement or sloth.

Unfortunately, the world is filled with far more shirkers than workers and consistent misidentification and conflation of activity with productive work. Much like the observation that effectiveness usually includes efficiency but the converse may not be true at all.

We live in a world dominated by a government supremacist mindset that impoverishes the imagination of the deplorables and elites alike. A world where the human has become so cowed by law, star-stuck by regulation and strangled by taxation, it appears forward progress to the promise of our youth is stunted and nigh impossible.

Look around you. Are you acquainted with grown men who spend all their non-work (or is it activity?) hours in a masturbatory dalliance with electronic friends in an insipid game or bathed in the ghost-light of the glass teat for six or more hours every day? Do you have friends or family whose fascination with a sport or sports team is so morbid they cannot talk of anything else? Are friends or neighbors who can barely get out of their own way in a race to exceed their height by their girth through indiscipline, gluttony and simply bad eating decisions in your social circle?

Please remember that the men of today are nothing like the men of yesteryear. One can find modern conveniences and advancements in science and engineering to make for a marvelous new civilization. Right now, no other generation in the entire planetary history of humanity has more information been available horizontally and vertically at the disposal of every person alive.

Ever.

And what do we do? Tens of millions are addicted to passing on important information about their bowel movements, sex lives, television viewing and eating habits via every manner of social media.

During the Siege of Boston in 1775-76 the British were astonished at the speed and perseverance of the colonists erecting the defenses against the Regular incursion in the area following the unpleasantness at Lexington and Concord in April 1775.

General Gage wrote of his surprise of the number of rebels surrounding the city: “The rebels are not the despicable rabble too many have supposed them to be…. In all their wars against the French they never showed such conduct, attention, and perseverance as they do now.”

The British writer, Harvey, is no apologist for the American based narrative so prevalent in the government schools in the US yet he cannot help but be astonished by the work ethic of a colony for whom heavy physical lifting for twelve hour days six and a half days a week was the usual course of the day. You will find many in the commentariat here suggesting that we no longer have the guts and perseverance that animated so much of the false glory assigned to the Greatest Generation during the War to Save Josef Stalin (1939-45).  WWII did, indeed, make the world safe for communism and the eventual evolution of the US and Europe into the national security prison states they are proud to be today.

Publisher’s Note: Civil wars are always a suicide pact between the usually unwitting proponents before the war gets hot. All civil wars, as all wars in history, are conflicts over self-determination. Most wars are fought between rival plantation combines. That may be the hard truth but it doesn’t mean it ain’t coming.

Communism is a human software virus based on greed, envy and a conviction that Darwinian violence is the sole arbiter of how human societies are regulated. Like all such economically illiterate and morally depraved creeds, they fail.

They always fail; hence, it must spread to the next victim-host to be devoured, driven into the stone-age and stack piles of corpses.

Rinse and repeat.

Have you discovered that a political opponent is ALWAYS someone who wishes to employ cajoling, fining, threatening, bullying, kidnapping, caging, maiming and killing to render your obedience to their most heart-felt desires? Politics is dead simple.

It calls to mind the words of William Pitt the Younger in a November 1783 speech to the House of Commons: Necessity is “the plea for every infringement of human freedom,” he said.  “It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.”

There is nothing commies will do that praises free markets. Seen and unseen: Every Amazon van may take 25 vehicles off the road – saving lives, saving time, saving energy, saving money. If you ignore gains and count only losses, the universe is truly tragic. Grownups can see the whole story, not just the grisly and boring parts.

I am a Lovecraft fan since my youth and thought this examination of the collectivist singularity is quite compelling.

Cthulhu pursues a globalist schedule that would bring all humanity under his dominion.  He works by bribery on the basis of psychotic resentment, offering to his minions the prospect of sexual abandon without consequence and the license to murder.  The four hundred foot tall squid-faced monster advertises his dark docket as a radiant future.  His followers will need to break a few eggs, but the omelet will justify itself deliciously.  It is in the nature of a fantastic imagination such as Lovecraft’s to penetrate into the remote spaces of the human condition and therefore to be applicable and relevant beyond its historical limitations.  The author of The Call only infrequently celebrated the higher or transcendent propensities of Homo sapiens, but as a student of baseness and cultural regression, he knew well of what he wrote.  The sheaf of documents inherited by Professor Angell’s nephew has a counterpart in the contemporary world.  Any Internet news-portal such as, say, the Drudge Report, will open through its hyperlinks a window on the Maenadism, entirely out of bounds, of the prevailing cultural, social, and political scenes.  That the hysteria and malice of the times stylize themselves as “Wokeness,” as the equivalent of an accession to consciousness, is all the more ironic given the Left’s actual lockstep ideological conformism and its actual restriction of expression to a rigorously limited set of accusations and denouncements.  Cthulhu only awakens to the degree that he can change humanity into a sleepwalking horde that has ceded its mental and moral independence to the calendar of its own servitude.  So-called comedienne Kathy Griffin presaged these (for the lack of a better term) developments back in May of 2017 when she appeared in photographs and a video clip carrying a simulacrum of the severed head of Donald Trump.  Euripides’ tragedy The Bacchae undoubtedly lies beyond Griffin’s ken, but she might have been auditioning for the role of Agave who in a fever of religious inebriation rips the head of her own son from its body – all under the inspiration of that god of lynching, Dionysus.  But no – not auditioning for the role; rather, reverting under a self-granted license to the savage behavior of the original Dionysus Cult, of which the Cthulhu Cult is a literary representation.

Th government supremacists now embrace “the savage behavior of the original Dionysus Cult, of which the Cthulhu Cult is a literary representation”.

Read the rest; read the whole thing. R’lyeh rising indeed…

Guns, who doesn’t want to discuss guns? I had a brain zephyr the other day and thought that one of the reasons the communists are so frightened by suppressors isn’t simply the wicked image the media has promulgated but it short-circuits stealth training on rifles if the usual suspects manage to deny private long arms to Helots on the plantation.

The current flavour of gun control that seems to impress the socialists, communists, and leftists is “red flag laws.”  Taking away the right to keep and bear arms appears to meet with the approval of President Trump, numerous politicians, and even various federal judges.  In response to a question about red flag laws, I recently posted these thoughts on Twitter: Violates privacy, free speech, free press, remain silent, confront witnesses, due process, counsel, privacy, requirements for warrants to issue, and that’s off the top of my head.

A few minutes later, I noted that it violates privacy twice.  You’ll be able to supply the amendments in the Bill of Rights yourself if you wish.  Clearly, to me, red flag laws are a terrible evil.

Been SWATted

One of the many reasons I feel that way is because a neighbour of mine decided it was her privilege to call the sheriff’s department, for which she worked in an administrative capacity (and for whom, I gather, her husband worked as as confidential informant), misreport a number of things and have a SWAT team show up outside my home.  When I walked out of my house about 9 pm that evening in April 2017, there were three laser range finder dots on my chest.  One error on my part or one exclamation or even perhaps a sneeze on the part of the watch commander, and my heart would have been blown out the back of my chest.

After some time in jail, hiring a bail bondsman, hiring an attorney, selling my house to pay for the legal expenses involved, and a number of hearings, the prosecutor moved to dismiss the case.  Subsequently, the prosecutor also moved to expunge the arrest record.  There are parts of the world where it is still possible to find people in the law enforcement community who can experience embarrassment when they are misled by their noses to do mistaken things.

Nevertheless, I cannot recommend the experience.  Being arrested was amongst the many reasons I stopped voting after February 1991, it was among the many reasons I searched the world for a free country, it was one of the reasons I re-located, briefly, to Somalia.  The United States has not been a free country in a very long time.

Your Guns

Why shouldn’t you ever surrender your guns?  Quite simple, really.  They are the main line of defence for individual liberty in the world.  Anyone who wants to take away your guns wants you to be a victim of crime, either by street criminals or by the government or by both.  Victim disarmament is inexcusable, unjustiable, and despicable.  No one who ever says anything in favour of disarming people has any good intentions, and such people should be, at least, ostracised.

Here, in graphical terms, is why:

Those who pretend that they want gun control for some good reason are either fools or liars, and neither one recommends close further contact with them.  Every government, from the United States which disarmed Native Americans to Turkey before World War One, to Germany and Russia before World War Two, to China after World War Two, and on and on, every government which has disarmed its people has then rounded people up and put them in camps.  You cannot trust people in government, so you had best keep your hands on your weapons.

Which Guns?

My friend Bill Buppert runs ZeroGov.com which is a great site for information on the topic.  A person to follow on Twitter who is the “village armourer” for Bill and others, is Twitter.com/thefreerifleman Skip.  You can also get a lot of good information on guns from Boston’s Gun Bible.  Anything I say here derives from my own experiences, or from reading Boston’s book, or from discussions and reading of Bill and Skip’s thoughts on the topic.  Any errors are exclusively my own. Publisher’s Note: The usual suspects among the communist chattering classes are now pivoting to a new mass advertisement campaign to attract apparatchiks to their serial killer ideology by painting every white human a white supremacist. While I think that government supremacists have done far more damage to earthlings, I look forward to seeing the unintended consequences and a mirror image of the very radicalization they so admire in their Antifa pets.

Keep pushing, collectivists.

Newton’s Third Law is a motherfucker.

They say the collectivists can’t meme and one reason is their complete blindness to the irony of their creed. Individualism is the enemy of government supremacist creeds because the individual isn’t valued in the hive mind. It is merely mortar for the foundations and walls of the leviathan state. A human competent to be bent to the will of the violence broker class and its sycophants on pain of death depending on the resistance to state authority.

John has penned another terrific travelogue in the brave notions of resistance to tyranny in the mountain Southrons. -BB

“You OK out there?” read the text message. “There is a guy with a rifle running around [redacted] mountain…”

When I pulled into the area, the local constabulary was staged. I had my EDC and typical vehicle load out already in place, which I didn’t even need to check. I had information from another local friend on where the guy was last seen. As I drove up the creek, the deputies were at the major lines of drift with radios. Most were in less than stellar physical shape and older in age.

The “man with a gun” was arrested several hours later.

The next day I heard several version of the same story, that involved a guy pulling a gun on another man.  He then pulled a rifle on another totally unrelated bystander shortly after. Someone at some point called the law as the bystander is a well-known harmless and upstanding man in the community. When law enforcement responded the assailant apparently brandished the rifle while executing a poorly conceived escape plan.

The local constabulary didn’t waste any time in trotting out the dogs and the Special Response Team. In reality the show of force was kind of reminiscent of the famous and hilarious third episode of The Andy Griffith Show, The Manhunt that detailed a bureaucratic over the top reaction to a situation that Andy solved with out much effort.

One thing was unanimous; the residents of the community didn’t want law enforcement there. “We don’t call the sheriff out here, we handle our own business” was a common refrain.  “Them deputies never waste a chance to show off do they?” said another. “Hell, that first guy might have deserved to have that gun pulled on him…”

In the Mountain South in particular, many disputes are settled even to this day in a private manner, if at all possible. The clannish nature of the residents, mostly descended from the Borderers of the English/Scottish border or of Germanic extraction, is still alive today in many ways.

Max Weber defines the state as has having a monopoly on the legitimate use of violence over a geographical area. To people historically and many still today in Occupied Appalachiastan, the state-only authority to dispense justice is a travesty of the highest proportions. Some do not want to outsource the dispensation of justice. Many do not want anyone mingling in the business of their community. Traditionally, the derbfine, the clan or even the community at large handled matters of justice. This goes back to lex talionis, which is the idea that if you are a righteous man and you are wronged, it is your duty to punish the offender, yourself.

“Leaving sex to the feminists is like letting your dog vacation at the taxidermist.”

“Men have sacrificed and crippled themselves physically and emotionally to feed, house, and protect women and children. None of their pain or achievement is registered in feminist rhetoric, which portrays men as oppressive and callous exploiters.”

“A woman simply is, but a man must become. Masculinity is risky and elusive. It is achieved by a revolt from woman, and it is confirmed only by other men.”

“American feminism has a man problem. The beaming Betty Crockers, hangdog dowdies, and parochial prudes who call themselves feminists want men to be like women. They fear and despise the masculine. The academic feminists think their nerdy bookworm husbands are the ideal model of human manhood.”

“Modern liberalism suffers unresolved contradictions. It exalts individualism and freedom and, on its radical wing, condemns social orders as oppressive. On the other hand, it expects government to provide materially for all, a feat manageable only by an expansion of authority and a swollen bureaucracy. In other words, liberalism defines government as tyrant father but demands it behave as nurturant mother.”

Camille Paglia

Publisher’s Note: I think Paglia may be one of the most original thinkers on sex in out time.

The trans- phenomenon has gained plenty of traction in popular media and academia for a variety of reasons, the victimhood card is, of course, de jure and de facto, putting it at the front of the line. The other reason (among many, all root cause analysis discovers many vectors) is yet another assault on masculinity, no matter the destination of the gender dysmorphia even a transition to “male”; the feminine is always superior to the masculine. The reason is [blood] simple. The masculine impulse will always challenge authority whether government or private, the nature of masculine ambition distilled. This is a partial explanation for the sex deficit of women among libertarians and the all the components ecologies of the anti-state and anti-authoritarian. The dearth of female adherents to anti-statist philosophy may very well be determined by a natural inclination to security and the mistaken perception that only a coercive state can do this.

Hence the media swooning and pearl clutching over the plight and experience of trans folk. One can see that media portrayals of the feminine are shallow, worshipful and tilted in a confirmation bias that favors state violence and aggression to organize society while the media portrayal of men is mostly that of doddering, intellectually stunted sexual predators whose existence is merely guaranteed by female steering and moralizing.

“Toxic masculinity” is the glue that has held human civilization together since time immemorial. The war against men is real and the West is simply rending itself in paroxysms of idiotic indulgence and short-sighted pearl clutching at every vestige of victim-hood, perceived or real.

You see it everyday; in some chilling comments I read lately, the communist interlocutor claimed that both freedom and masculinity has lost and we simply don’t know it because the commanding hights of the media and academia have been collectivist hothouses that have captured the mind of the youth and therein lies the true generational power.

I was asked a good question today and thought it was worth mentioning here… along with my answer.

“Communists are clearly trying to destroy the US, what parallel to their effort is Collapsitarian?” This is a fair question, and deserves an in-depth answer.

The Communist Coup is clearly in full-view to anyone not reading braille or drooling tide-pods by now.

This has been their intention all along… to create authoritarian rule in the USSA.

It began in the compulsory indoctrination camps, and made its way through media, entertainment, local, state, and federal government… you cannot look anywhere without seeing minions with a child-like reverence for government. They want to be ruled.

This is happening.

It became apparent, that there was no un-doing the damage they have done… there was no solving this current trajectory towards chattel slavery by political means, or even by political memes (though we love them).

The only sensible action left was to accept the collapse and prepare for the next chapter, instead of losing all trying to protect what had already been corrupted with Utopian Collectivism.

The Communist Coup must disarm Americans to enact any further “progress”.

“…within an established totalitarian regime the purpose of propaganda is not to persuade, much less to inform, but rather to humiliate. From this point of view, propaganda should not approximate to the truth as closely as possible: on the contrary, it should do as much violence to it as possible. For by endlessly asserting what is patently untrue, by making such untruth ubiquitous and unavoidable, and finally by insisting that everyone publicly acquiesce in it, the regime displays its power and reduces individuals to nullities.”

“Apart from the massacres, deaths and famines for which communism was responsible, the worst thing about the system was the official lying: that is to say the lying in which everyone was forced to take part, by repetition, assent or failure to contradict. I came to the conclusion that the purpose of propaganda in communist countries was not to persuade, much less to inform, but to humiliate and emasculate.”

“If you are held responsible for what I do and I held responsible for what you do, does that make us not friends but mutual spies? Normal human bounds are dissolved by collective responsibility, to be repealed by distrust, fear, dissembling and withdrawal”

“It is countries with no dissent, which live in the quiet of the grave, that are vulnerable and fragile.”

Anthony Daniels, The Wilder Shores Of Marx: Journeys In A Vanishing World

Publisher’s Note: It’s 2019 and most of the country believes that communism and socialism are viable social models for modern human zoo-keeping. Go figure.

When I was much younger, I couldn’t imagine what led to the fearful, informer-based culture in the Eastern Bloc that we were told existed behind the Iron Curtain. I understand now, though. The bigger the government , the more it needs citizens who not only conform but have so swallowed the Kool-Aid they are willing to inform on their neighbors or friends or family. The confidential informant culture is a vital survival and leveling mechanism for government supremacists.

Grok this in your everyday life.

More thoughts on disconnecting from the connected world.

People could not distract themselves endlessly as they can now, and this also had ramifications for social bonding: the pretense that we are all sovereign islands unconnected to and independent of others was a lot harder to sustain. Conversation became high art and debate started to reach its apogee only to plummets precipitously in the twentieth century.

This in turn leads to mindless parsing of human attributes unanchored to morality or the human condition. Intersectionality is a mindless preoccupation with putting people into more and more refined pigeon holes. The only thing valid about it is that each individual human being is a unique intersection of varying attitude, aspirations, and aptitudes on a variety of subjects, issues, skills etc. I am amused at the intersectional cannibalism emerging from the myriad factions of mental illness parading as political discourse that seem to teem on the intellectual plains of the left-wing culture. I am convinced daycare and two working parents have caused trauma or irreversible damage to most children that makes them vulnerable to the deadly swansong of government supremacism.

But remember, the left always pretended they opposed McCarthy on principle, when in reality they were only upset that it was their idols being blasphemed. Now that Woke Leftism has the cultural whip hand, they are gleeful at the prospect of enforcing their own blasphemy laws and dealing out McCarthy’s tactics to their enemies in triplicate.

In other news, yes, I am on the spectrum and I wouldn’t want to be neurotypical.

“Neurotypical syndrome is a neurobiological disorder characterized by preoccupation with social concerns, delusions of superiority, and obsession with conformity.”

Neurotypical (NT) individuals often assume that their experience of the world is either the only one, or the only correct one. NTs find it difficult to be alone. NTs are often intolerant of seemingly minor differences in others. When in groups, NTs are socially and behaviorally rigid, and frequently insist upon the performance of dysfunctional, destructive, and even impossible rituals as a way of maintaining group identity. NTs find it difficult to communicate directly and have a much higher incidence of lying as compared to persons on the autistic spectrum.

NT is believed to be genetic in origin. Autopsies have shown the brain of the neurotypical is typically smaller than that of an autistic individual and may have overdeveloped areas related to social behavior.

Celebrate neurodiversity. Don’t be a hater, NTs.

Government

History is not race, class, and gender; these are simply faux-sophisticated academic constructs that fit nicely in unreadable journal articles the usual suspects pass off as research in the wretched academic Marxian hothouses polluting the educational void after K-12 has thoroughly scooped out any brain matter that could think for itself. The universities (why do you think they aren’t heteroversities?) are simply the finishing school to further refine the brainwashed automatons that eagerly hop onboard any government supremacist passenger train passing their way.

History of all government is the history of power, violence and slavery.

Politician is a deceptive colloquialism for violence brokers. The brokerage is the potential and actual dispensation of state violence through taxation, regulation, fining, kidnapping, caging, maiming and killing in the tried and proven continuum of government compliance. The notion that a single man is incapable of self government but a single psychopath and his connected minions and apparatchiks is the key to a peaceful and just society lording over millions.

It is no more complex than that, all government outside of self-government demands violence to see its project in train and complete. Left or right is simply misdirection, it is always the choice between individualism and collectivism, the choice between non-intervention and intervention. In North America, there is no single political party that doesn’t want the reigns of government so it can take its collectivist vision and enforce it at gun point.

Whether the Mango Mussolini or any of his other predecessors in the Big House, they all have one goal in mind: compliance or else. That may be the three words that most simply tell you what the plan is for ANY government that forces itself upon you. This is not about questioning authority, it’s too late then. You must question obedience.

One of the greatest powers of the political class is that they tend to attract not only the worse but in economic terms provide no reliable future framework for decision making at the micro and macro level. In order for markets to optimally function, people need to be able to project and forecast into the future the variables that guide decision making and price signals. The state wrecks this calculus fundamentally and existentially hence the power of kakocrats at every level to use their “office” to extend favors and withdraw favor.

Politicians are the enemy of all free-range humankind.

Have you noticed a trend in the US? No matter what wing of the Uniparty gets in office, government gets bigger at the Federal levels and the state subsidiaries continue to expand their portfolio of zookeepers instructions to the zoo animals?

I am only slightly encouraged by the repeal of a number of regulations under the Trump regime but don’t anticipate the Deep State taking this lying down. Some of these repeals actually expand the power of the Federal government. I would urge you to examine the Brookings Institution findings on the repealed rules and regulations. It is not what you think it is.

But then again, the Federal budget continues to accelerate under the Grand Old Politburo.

Jim touches on some thoughtful notions germane to the coming Endarkenment. I am an antifragility advisor (one of my jobs) at my current employment and have presented two papers at the Military Operations Research Society annual symposiums on this very subject. The good news is that all insurgencies are by their nature antifragile while the counterinsurgency efforts in the western world have tended to a fragility that sunders their effectiveness.

Some random thoughts:

How am I faring off Twitter? It is a wise moving getting off Twitter. It is a swamp that puts you in touch with some of the more toxic and cancerous elements of humanity. It’s an ideal platform for the intellectually beggared belief systems of the government supremacists. Best case scenario is you waste time and get annoyed, worst case scenario is a Tweet against the hive mind causes an angry Twitter mob to dox you, and you lose your job or worse.

I don’t understand why anybody wants to be involved with Twitter or any social media that encourages the briefest and lowest forms of social interaction at the expense of genuine communication.

Haiku is an art form best left to the savvy and dedicated practitioners.

On reflection, there used to be a lot less “here and now”. The mass distractions and casual pleasures we take for granted didn’t exist for most of human history. Go back 150 years and there’s no internet, TV, radio, or recorded music and even photography was still in its infancy. Go back a bit farther and you’re in the “world lit only by fire”. Go back further and you have the advent of silent reading that directly led to the huge advancements in the West.A contemplative knowledge gathering exercise that demanded your active participation and cognition.

“This fragility is integral to the system and generated by it, in periods of boom and bust,” writes Wolf, instructing us about the invisible force that propelled the world into 2008, when this fragile system came too close to shattering into chaos.
~ Martin Wolf, Forbes, 2014

For some months now, my friend Skip who posts on Twitter as TheFreeRifleman has been using a term he coined, “Collapsitarian” to describe his outlook.  Like many things in life, it began with a long series of sardonic posts in which Skip lamented the fact that Bankster Elite Pedophile Illuminati Globalist Satanic Luciferians (BEPIGS) rule the system as it presently exists, and that we should anticipate a day, soon, when we “burn this stupidity to the ground” (BTSTTG or in variants, BTFSTTG, BTSSTTG) or “back off and nuke the site from orbit, it’s the only way to be sure.”  Skip also likes to refer to the current seat of governmental power as Mordor on the Potomac.  So he has lots of great ideas.

The concept of a collapsitarian is a philosophical libertarian who is aware that the system as it currently exists is going to collapse.  It is going to collapse whether you vote or not, whether you file paperwork the government asks for or not, whether you comply with their endless rules and regulations or not, and it is not going to be very long.  The system that “nearly” failed in 2007-2009 in an enormous financial crisis which saved itself through all kinds of chicanery and bailouts and give-aways to corporate giants did not fix any of the fundamental problems that resulted in that crisis.  It hasn’t fixed any of the millions of other problems it has, either.  The systems of the economy, banking, finance, law, justice, foreign policy, electric power, and online access that have any connection to government processes are fragile.

Fragility is widespread.  Systems are teetering on the brink.  A collapse is coming, and one collapse is very likely to trigger many others, in a cascade failure.  Whether the triggering event is a natural disaster such as Yellowstone going up, or a Carrington event, or a large series of earthquakes and tsunamis, or Earth passing through an active meteor zone such as the Taurids and actually being hit by something large, or a foreign policy debacle ending in a nuclear strike or several, we have no way of knowing.

Given that you can anticipate a lot of things that you may be relying upon suddenly becoming unreliable or unavailable, what should you do?  In the words of ZeroGov.com founder Bill Buppert, “up your preps.”  You have time to prepare.  You have time to buy ammo.  You have time to outfit yourself with supplies, with equipment like night vision gear, gas masks, potassium iodide (which helps your thyroid survive in the event of volcanic or nuclear distribution of radioactive iodide by filling your thyroid with non-radioactive iodide), water filtration gear, food storage equipment, food, ammo, and more ammo.  You have time to team up with people in your area and near your area and not too far from your area so that you can coordinate in the event things go bad.  You have time to train with your team.  You may even have time to build a mesh network or other resilient communications system.

But you don’t have much time, so you should not delay any longer.

Resilient Communities

In the last two years, I’ve been working very actively on building resilient communities both online and in the real world.  I have located several really good prospective areas for development, including the Montrose county, Colorado area and the Greenup county, Kentucky region.   As well, I’ve been in contact with developers and entrepreneurs involved in projects in Argentina, Belize, Burma, Chile, Europe, Uruguay, Canada, and elsewhere.  My friend Kurt Hanson has suggested we develop a new Hanseatic League of free communities, and I think that’s a great idea.

If you are living in a city on the east or West coast of the United States, I urge you to re-locate.  You are in danger.  You are in danger of certain kinds of natural disasters (tsunamis, floods, earthquakes, volcanoes) and in the cases of cities like Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Baltimore, DC, New York, the metro areas of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Maryland, all kinds of political and economic dangers.  If you are not living in a place where you can grow enough food to keep yourself and your family alive, you should seriously consider relocating to somewhere you can do so.

Happily, the places I know of include several that are actively looking for additional people.  There are businesses to get involved in.  There are networks of online activity you can participate in.  There are many new systems, much more resilient than the old ways, developing right now.

You don’t have much time to improve your situation.  But you do have some.  And about 100 million Americans are aware of the difficulties, I believe, based on their actions (ignoring the census, not voting, etc.).  So I think there are tens of millions of people who will be willing to help when the collapse starts happening.

Not to be too gloomy, but there are also people in government who are going to continue to apply fraud to all revelations that they’ve been lying and increase the amount of force they’ve been applying to all the problems caused by excessive force (wars, prisons for profit, economic turmoil, etc.).  Among other things I think you should anticipate is large scale prison camps near major cities where dissidents and people in rebellion, including those targeted by “red flag” laws are going to be concentrated.  Yes, FDR created concentration camps in 1942, and other presidents were involved in a long history of “reservations” for Native Americans, so don’t imagine anything new is being said when concentration camps in America are discussed.  Be prepared to free the slaves, stop the wars, and end the state.

If you aren’t motivated to change your circumstances, perhaps you have it all figured out.  Or perhaps you are in a good situation.  Changes are coming.  Stay ready.

The Jesuit magazine America has published an article making a case for communism for Catholics. I am not astonished. this is nothing new. Government supremacism and communism all share the same basic philosophical premise: individual natural rights are non-existent, but are privileges granted by the state, which may curtail their exercise at will so long as it is for the perceived “common good.” There have been Christian apologists for Communism since the Paris Commune. Of course, it always begs the eternal question, when the last Catholic becomes Communist will freedom be made secure by strangling him in his own entrails? Personally I rather like Krushchev’s line that when Communists become Christians, shrimp will learn to whistle. Given how Krushchev was buried in an Orthodox cemetery, there is a certain irony in that. One might call this the left wing analogy to Holocaust denial and revisionism.

Maybe the Catholic church can start writing screeds advancing the joys of pederasty, cannibalism, sado-masochism, on and on…wait, they already do that.

In other news, I have a day job so I couldn’t watch the moral Lilliputians eviscerate the feeble and imbecilic Comrade Mueller but the snippets I’ve seen are most satisfying to see the Deep State eating its own. I don’t give a shit about the welfare or machinations of the Mango Mussolini but I think this performance has significantly dimmed the possibilities of impeachment thus Race Bannon will not become President in the Offal Office. Q: “…your report”
M: “I cannot answer that question”

Whatever the government vermin do to each other and ultimately against you, just prepare accordingly and harden your hearts for the coming Endarkenment. As a committed collapsitarian, my soul is at peace.

“The parties of special interests, which see nothing more in politics than the securing of privileges and prerogatives for their own groups, not only make the parliamentary system impossible; they rupture the unity of the state and of society. They lead not merely to the crisis of parliamentarism, but to a general political and social crisis. Society cannot, in the long run, exist if it is divided into sharply defined groups, each intent on wresting special privileges for its own members, continually on the alert to see that it does not suffer any setback, and prepared, at any moment, to sacrifice the most important political institutions for the sake of winning some petty advantage.

“To the parties of special interests, all political questions appear exclusively as problems of political tactics. Their ultimate goal is fixed for them from the start. Their aim is to obtain, at the cost of the rest of the population, the greatest possible advantages and privileges for the groups they represent. The party platform is intended to disguise this objective and give it a certain appearance of justification, but under no circumstances to announce it publicly as the goal of party policy. The members of the party, in any case, know what their goal is; they do not need to have it explained to them. How much of it ought to be imparted to the world is, however, a purely tactical question.

“All antiliberal parties want nothing but to secure special favors for their own members, in complete disregard of the resulting disintegration of the whole structure of society. ”

Mises, Ludwig von (1927). Liberalism [classical liberalism, not the modern definition]

Von Mises called the ball nearly a hundred years ago.

“The best way to keep a prisoner from escaping is to make sure he never knows he’s in prison.”

– Fyodor Dostoevsky

“All violence consists in some people forcing others, under threat of suffering or death, to do what they do not want to do.”

“Even if the absence of government really did mean anarchy in a negative, disorderly sense – which is far from being the case – even then, no anarchical disorder could be worse than the position to which government has led humanity.”

– Leo Tolstoy

“We must ask, not whether an anarcho-capitalist society would be safe from a power grab by the men with the guns (safety is not an available option), but whether it would be safer than our society is from a comparable seizure of power by the men with the guns. I think the answer is yes. In our society, the men who must engineer such a coup are politicians, military officers, and policemen, men selected precisely for the characteristic of desiring power and being good at using it. They are men who already believe that they have a right to push other men around – that is their job. They are particularly well qualified for the job of seizing power. Under anarcho-capitalism the men in control of protection agencies are selected for their ability to run an efficient business and please their customers. It is always possible that some will turn out to be secret power freaks as well, but it is surely less likely than under our system where the corresponding jobs are labeled ‘non-power freaks need not apply’.”

Again and again, people are shocked by even the hint of the elimination of large swaths, wholesale portions and the complete abolition of government at every level.  I do not advocate for reduction or cost effectiveness; I advocate for the complete withdrawal of government and its attendant violence out of lives.

I have mentioned before that there is no such thing as limited government; that is simply the orchid hothouse for the future prosperity of the expansion of government.

I do advocate self-government but that is the only self-limiting government in human affairs. Mind you, this is a dystopian vision in which the individuals, businesses and entities will fail and even perish but is nothing compared to the bureaucratized slaughter that has been the story of man for time immemorial under the illusion that GOVERNMENT COERCION AND VIOLENCE IS THE SOLE ORGANIZING PRINCIPLE OF HUMANITY.

I want to take the time today to illustrate why anarchy is no stranger in human affairs and is, in fact, the ordinary everyday principle by which most of us conduct our business.

John wakes up in the morning and prepares to go to work in the house he purchased for an extraordinarily inflated price due to the fiat currency, building regulations and property taxes forcibly extracted from him to turn the community’s children into shambling illiterate and innumerate morons who will respond obediently to the beat of the government society they are yoked to.

In spite of this, John elects to pursue a career to bring the forty percent of his total earned income home and do the right thing with it.  He is a middle-class American struggling to make ends meet.  John is proud to be a producer and resents mightily the high taxation and regulatory tangle that has become life in America.

He goes on to eat his healthful breakfast which is the direct opposite of the Food and Drug Administration’s soothing recommendations to ensure he does not truncate the end of his life.  After breakfast, he takes the prescription drug illegally stored in an unmarked container on his way out the door.  The children are home-schooled so there is no necessity to wake them up from their slumber.  He is eager to ensure the government does not get their claws into his children to turn them into to the aforementioned urchins of the state.

He grabs his briefcase and pack and heads out to his truck.  Under Arizona law, he is practically unrestricted in his travel with a weapon and ensures that the Glock stored in the truck is fully operable and ready for social work knowing that the cops are far more interested in ticketing drivers than catching genuine criminals.  By their nature and incentives, the police cannot protect him in 99% of circumstances and he is on his own.  He dials the cell-phone and sets up his meetings for the day and ensures his lunch appointment is still on.  He pulls the truck onto the unimproved road and drives to the highway to head for work.  He drives as he wishes on his private road but knows that once he has hit the pavement on the government built road he will be in constant danger of being stopped by the armed tax-eaters for violations as minor as having a license plate light out to provide the impetus for a fishing expedition by the constabulary to exact new monies or escort him into the prison system.

When he gets to the intersection, the entire signal system is inoperable due to a power outage but he simply waits his turn and eventually motors onto the interstate.  He is a polite driver not because of the law but because he realizes that cautious and defensive driving is in his own self-interest.  A woman on the side of the road is having to change a tire so he stops to render assistance.

Once he arrives at the office, he strolls in and views with amazement the huge wall-space dedicated to the mandated posting of all manner of government foolishness concerning minimum wage (none at his office make anything approaching that even the interns), harassment and all kinds of silly mandates which do their best to retard progress and blunt effectiveness.  He shakes his head at the sheer waste and furrows an angry brow when he thinks that almost sixty cents of every dollar his company takes in goes to one government entity or another and he is not even paid or reimbursed for the collection service he is obligated to perform under penalty of fines or jail or worse.

After corporate income taxes and the strangling regulatory burden, one third or more of his employees are directly paid to deal with tax accountancy and regulatory compliance.  He is consistently amazed at the sheer anti-business attitude of all levels of government from local to federal.  They seem to attract not only the kind of folks who never met a payroll but people for him business is a dirty four letter word.  Ironically, their very plush lifestyles are underwritten in part by the tremendous tax receipts robbed from productive enterprises everyday.  He remembers reading “I, Pencil” and briefly being amazed at the depth and magnitude of the spontaneous order needed to produce such a simple consumable – all with no coercion or violence whatsoever.

He goes onto lunch later on and orders a burger “under the table” which is not cooked to the shoe-leather standards of the idiotic Health Department regulations.  In conversation with his usual lunch crew, they engage in friendly rhetorical contests about the latest political chicanery and the looming election that will change – nothing.

After lunch, he heads back to work to spend the afternoon not pursuing profit but to deal with the latest ingenious move by the local government to exact more monies from his company’s wallet.  They are pursuing the age-old nostrum of all politicians – to extract wealth from the producers to provide for their various captured parasite groups they have assembled who are their most loyal constituency.

John later calls it a day and heads home through the traffic snarl called government roads.  He is contemplating whether the new 8.2 mile private toll road is worth the monthly expense and decides to give it a try.  He was told by a contractor friend that private roads in new developments take an extraordinarily shorter amount of time to finish and do it under budget every time.  Of course, the local government has been more aggressive in annexing (a nice word for seizure) these roads shortly after construction which then leads to cops prowling for revenue enhancement.  One study reported that most signs removed improved driving instead of making it unsafe; in America, it is a simply a pretense to end-run civil liberties for ticketing although no one has yet caught a cop on or off duty coming to a full stop at a stop sign.

John miraculously makes it home without being pulled over and wearily walks into his house to greet his wife and family.  She is a bit frazzled having spent the day home-schooling but glad to see the hunter return.  After a healthy dinner which again violates every nostrum of the vaunted FDA, he asks after his sons and daughter and the wife relates the verities of the day.  After a brief conversation, John proceeds to go to his shop to work on his gunsmithing hobby with his lads for the evening and then hit the rack in preparation for another day.
